Trance Yoga is now operating as Trance Therapies Australia P/L. Trance Therapies provide Yoga Massage and Meditation sessions to suit students looking to achieve various goals such as physical fitness, improved decision making, physical and mental relaxation.

The practitioner Sarath Asseddumagé is an experienced and qualified Yoga Practitioner and a qualified Massage Therapist who is committed to continuous learning and updating his skills. He has been practicing Yoga for over 40 years.

Experience & Qualifications

Sarath Asseddumagé is an experienced and qualified Classical Yoga Practitioner, who is committed to continuous learning and updating his skills. He has been practicing Yoga for over 40 years.

Introduced to this ancient therapy and art of Yoga at tender young age of five, he has been trained by traditional and moderns Gurus in the East and in the West. He has a sound knowledge of Sanskrit, various styles of Yoga and advanced meditation techniques and Natural Healing abilities.

With over 30 years of teaching Yoga and the experience of living and working in different parts of the world, Sarath brings an unmatched resource to the Melbourne Yoga scene with strong cultural backing. Sarath is a member of the Yoga Teachers Association of Australia and accredited in workplace training.

Now Sarath is a certified massage practitioner. He obtained Certificate IV in Massage Therapy in 2004 at  Melbourne Institute of Massage Therapy in Heidelberg Melbourne.Sarath is currently studying Remedial Massage .
